Tesla Model X Has Been Updated With A Steering Yoke And A 1,020 HP Plaid Variant

As the saying goes, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Tesla's Model S Plaid+, which has a 520-mile range but is controlled by a yoke, has gone viral on the internet. Do you think Tesla Model X will see the same changes as the Model 3?

The interior of Tesla's huge SUV is influenced by the new Model S, with a yoke inspired by the Roadster, a landscape-style center screen, and Model 3-like simplicity. Tesla Model X is also offered in a three-motor Plaid configuration, albeit with slightly lower performance.

It is claimed that the 1,020-hp tri-motor Model X Plaid will hit 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, reach a top speed of 163 mph, and travel for 340 miles on a single charge, values that are 0.51 seconds, 37 mph, and 50 miles less than the Model S Plaid's performance figures suggest. However, the price stays the same at $121,190 for the retail version of the vehicle.

According to Tesla's early claims, the Model 3 would have an impressive 520-mile range, as well as 0-60 mph and quarter-mile paces that bested those of the Model S Plaid. In Tesla's Model X configurator, it appears that the Plaid+ version of the Model X will be absent, just as there is no Plaid+ sedan version of the Model S.

With a new range of 360 miles (up from 328), the Long Range variant now boasts a 0-60 speed of under 3.8 secs, according to the configurator. It'll cost $91,190 when it goes on sale. Before it vanished, there was a 371-mile Long Range Plus model.
