Tesla Model S Plaid Is Nurburgring's Quickest EV

Elon Musk claimed that a Tesla Model S Plaid would be the quickest production electric vehicle on Nurburgring on his Twitter page, and shortly after a video appeared supporting these claims.

With 1,020-hp, the Tesla Model S Plaid is one of the world's quickest and most powerful electric vehicles, speeding to 100 km/h in 2.1 secs and reaching a peak speed of 322 km/h. At the same time, the car has a range of 637 km.

Tesla Model S Plaid has just smashed the record for electric production vehicles on the renowned Nurburgring Nordschleife track, according to a tweet by Elon Musk. He also included a snapshot of the vehicle's recorded time. We can see two periods in the image: the first is 7 min 30.909 secs and the second is 7 min 35.579 secs.

Tesla's YouTube channel released video confirmation of the record not long after. As a result, Tesla Model S Plaid dethrones the Porsche Taycan Turbo in Germany. The German model took 7 min and 42.3 secs to travel the 20.6 km, 12 secs slower than the Model S Plaid. In the same tweet, Elon Musk stated that the automobile had not been changed.
