The German tuner Techart presented the Cabriolet version of the GTstreet R, which is based on the 992 model 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S. GTstreet R coupe and cabriolet will be made in a limited run of 87 units.

The exterior features a carbon fiber bodykit (matte, glossy, or forged) with bumper, fender, and side sill extensions, GT3 RS-style fender gills, a redesigned hood with two inlets, a rear spoiler, and dual tailpipes for the stainless-steel sport exhaust system with valve control. Except for the smaller spoiler, the aesthetic modifications are similar to the fixed-top version.

The twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six now produces 789-hp (588 kW / 800 PS) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque. In comparison to the stock 911 Turbo S Convertible, this adds 148-hp (110 kW / 150 PS) and 111 lb-ft (150 Nm) of torque (217 mph). For those who don't want to tinker with the engine's hardware, Techart offers a 700-hp (522 kW / 710 PS) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) model.

With sports springs, the suspension may be lowered by 25 mm (1 inch), or by 5-30 mm (0.2-1.2 inches) with the new coilover package. Forged 20′′ front and 21′′ rear Techart Formula VI wheels are offered with or without aero discs. The optional Clubsport Package includes performance seats, a roll cage, and adjustable coil-over suspension.

Inside, the owner can mix Alcantara, leather, classic fabrics, and carbon fiber to their desire, with Techart logos and a hand-crafted steering wheel. The tuner's official 3D configurator has all the settings. The GTstreet R Cabriolet conversion begins at €63,000 ($73,604), which is less than the GTstreet R's €73,000 ($85,287). In any case, you must donate a Porsche 911 Turbo or Turbo S to the carmaker.
