Supercharged Engine For Toyota Yaris GRMN
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
Toyota i-TRIL's latest press release has managed to provide some interesting details about another car - Toyota Yaris GRMN. This is a supermini-based high-performance model, the abbreviation referring to Gazoo Racing Masters of Nurburgring.
The coolest fact about this car is that it is powered by a 1.8-liter petrol-fueled supercharged engine, delivering 210 hp. The three-door model is the only one in its range with a supercharged engine on board. Besides the powertrain, the car has an aggressive chassis kit, which will differentiate it from the other models in the 2017 facelifted Yaris range.

The suspension is more rigid, while the rest of the mechanic tricks help the car enhance its aggressive attitude. The engine will probably be teamed up with a six-speed manual transmission, although this is not a sure thing for now. Another assumption is that the car will come in an all-wheel-drive configuration.

Yaris GRMN will be premiered on March, 7, at Geneva, joined by the i-TRIL concept and the full range of track-only Gazoo-Racing series.
