Subaru XV/Crosstrek Is Getting A Special Edition For Its 10th Birthday

Subaru XV/Crosstrek has been on the market for ten years, making it one of the oldest compact crossovers. Special editions of current XVs for the Japanese market have been introduced to mark the anniversary. Subaru XV Advance Style Edition receives several visual enhancements that make it appear stronger and trendier.

Dark gun metallic 18-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, and grey metallic skid plates, grille, fog lamp surrounds, mirror caps, roof spoiler, and shark fin antenna are among them. On the inside, we discover black synthetic leather upholstery with distinctive yellow piping, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the whole EyeSight Safety Plus package.

Only the 2.0-liter e-Boxer is available in this unique version. The hybrid powertrain comprises a 2.0-liter engine that produces 143 hp (107 kW / 145 PS) and 188 Nm (139 lb-ft) of torque, as well as a 13.4 hp (10 kW / 13.6 PS) electric motor that provides 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) of torque.

With the Subaru Symmetrical AWD technology, power is transmitted to all four wheels via the Lineatronic CVT. Other changes for the 2022 XV range in Japan include a sapphire blue pearl exterior color option on 1.6-liter cars and redesigned heated seats with fabric upholstery as standard on 2.0-liter variants.

Prices for the Subaru XV/Crosstrek XV Advance Style Edition start at ¥2915,000 ($25,660) in Japan. However, this isn't the top trim level, since the Advance, which comes with even more features, costs ¥3014,000 ($26,511).
