Subaru Forester tS - almost 300 HP and only 300 units produced!

Subaru presented the Forester tS model in Japan which is actually the mass produced version of the Forester STI tS concept introduced in September this year.

Developed by the team at STI (Subaru Tecnica International), Forester tS will be produced in a limited edition of only 300 units, which makes it an exclusive model. Under the hood it packs the most powerful version of the Boxer 2.0-liter turbo engine that produces 280 PS and 350 Nm.

The engine is coupled to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. To cope with the increased power, it is equipped with BBS 19-inch aluminum wheels Brembo calipers and ventilated brake discs. The suspension has also been replaced by an STI that has a ground clearance reduced by 15 mm compared to the standard. They also replaced the engine management system (ECU) and the VDC system (Vehicle Dynamics Control) has been revised.

On the exterior the Forester tS can be identified by its black grille with red stripes and tS logo on it. The car received new front/rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, black mirrors and tS logos on the front wings.

ST Forester comes equipped with sports watches and the speedometer is divided up to the speed of 260 km/h. The multifunctional steering wheel is covered in leather and has the tS logo on it.

Prices start at US $36,800 and Subaru accepts preorders until 05 April 2015. Hurry!
