Subaru BRZ Gets More Expensive For 2025, Starting At $32,265

If you’ve been holding off on buying a Subaru BRZ, you might want to rethink your strategy. The 2025 model's price has increased by $900, and the destination fee has increased by another $50. It’s challenging to see what justifies this hike.

The base model now starts at $32,265, including a $1,170 destination fee. The only new feature is a Sport mode, which Subaru says improves throttle response for manual transmission models. If you’re opting for an automatic, you’re getting the same setup as last year.

This price increase comes at a time when BRZ sales have dropped significantly—Subaru sold only 1,414 units in the first half of the year, a decrease of nearly 44 percent. There’s no sign that sales will pick up soon. With its 228-horsepower, naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four engine and manual transmission, the BRZ still has its appeal.

But with the tS model approaching $40,000, it’s competing directly with other high-performance options like the Subaru WRX and Toyota GR Corolla, which might offer more value for the price. If you’re considering a BRZ, this price increase might push you to explore other choices.
