Stellantis has unveiled its revamped range of commercial vehicles as part of the Pro One initiative, which consolidates six brands into a single group for its light commercial vehicle business. This lineup includes 12 vehicles from Citroen, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall.

Notably, the Fiat E-Ducato provides a preview of the Ram ProMaster EV, which is expected to be revealed by the end of 2023. At the same time, Ram's North American lineup will undergo a revitalization, with the electric ProMaster EV set to debut later in 2023.

The 2024 Fiat E-Ducato comes with a 110-kilowatt-hour battery, offering an impressive range of up to 261 miles. Rumors suggest that the ProMaster EV, originally slated for the first half of the year, will share significant elements with the European-market electric Fiat Ducato. Stellantis claims that the new EV offers 30 percent more range than its predecessor, with up to 270 horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque.

It features a new charging system and two standard onboard chargers with fast charging capability, refilling the battery in just 55 minutes. The revamped commercial lineup will utilize the second generation of battery-electric vehicle propulsion technology, catering to various van segments. In the compact van segment, Stellantis' electric van is expected to provide up to 205 miles of range.

Mid-size vans will come with 50- or 75-kilowatt-hour battery packs, offering up to 224 miles of range. Large vans across the brands can achieve up to 261 miles on a single charge, according to the WLTP cycle. Stellantis is also introducing second-generation hydrogen fuel cell technology for mid-size vans, beginning in mid-2024. This propulsion system is capable of providing up to 249 miles of range. Likewise, Ram's future US portfolio will include vehicles with hydrogen fuel cell technology, and it will expand to large vans next year, boasting up to 311 miles of range and a five-minute refill time.

Stellantis

The new commercial van lineup features cabin updates and a new generation of the automaker's human-machine interface. This includes larger, more configurable instrument clusters and center displays, in conjunction with the Dynamic Surround Vision camera system. Over-the-air updates are also now supported, and the new commercial vans are equipped with full LED headlights. The future looks promising for Stellantis, Ram, and the ProMaster EV in the United States.
