Its classic good looks are what make the Fiat 500 famous. The Trepiuno concept had its premiere in Geneva on March 4, 2004, while the production model didn't come out until 2007.

Stellantis Heritage produced a special edition Fiat 500 named Tributo Trepiuno to commemorate the unveiling's 20th anniversary. The special edition takes its cues from the 1957 original and builds on the 500 Hybrid, but it gets a number of tweaks.

Therefore, the Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno boasts a unique white paint job and a fresh set of alloy wheels featuring five double spokes and a glossy finish. The red accents within the taillights cannot be overlooked. Meanwhile, vintage blue-faced Fiat badges are on the grille, tailgate, and wheel caps. Inside, you'll find a one-of-a-kind blend of reddish-brown and white.

Underneath the front seats, you'll find Trepiuno embroidery with XX (the Latin numeral for 20) badging. The dashboard is covered with the original concept drawings. The concept's bathtub-style cabin is reflected in the coordinated color scheme of the door cards, side moldings, and back seatbacks.

The Stellantis Heritage department, which also created the Alfa Romeo 4C Unica and Fiat Multipla 6×6 one-offs, is curating the "Reloaded By Creators" initiative, which includes the Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno. Roberto Giolito, currently Head of Stellantis Heritage, was responsible for the design of both the Multipla and the Trepiuno.

In regards to his creation, Giolito stated: “My idea with my team, Advanced Design—founded in 2002 and made up of young designers from various fields—was to strip down any decorative form and use the minimalist design of the 500, which mainly meant using overlaid levels like on Giacosa’s 500. This led to the inclusion of a rounded lower body—a ring that surrounded the entire volume, even the sides of the hood—and a glass bubble that even avoided breaks in continuity between the windshield and the glass or openable roof.”

Debuting in 2007 and getting a refresh in 2016, the production-spec Fiat 500 is quite larger than the concept and has a more standard four-seater cabin. Nonetheless, the essential shapes and design elements have been preserved.

In 2020, Fiat introduced the all-electric 500e, which was essentially a redesign of the previous model. Stellantis Heritage will be in charge of certification and sales for all 500 Tributo Trepiunos, while Fiat has been mum on manufacturing quantities and prices.
