Special Edition F-150 Honors Carroll Shelby

Shelby has recently unveiled a special edition of its F-150, a tribute to the late Carroll Shelby, who founded the iconic brand.

This exclusive release, known as the Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition, is a limited run of only 100 units and stands as the most powerful street-legal truck ever produced by Shelby. In their standard configuration, the Centennial Edition trucks offer an impressive 400 horsepower, courtesy of the 5.0-liter V8 engine.

For those seeking an extra punch, an optional supercharger can be added, effectively doubling the output to a staggering 800 hp! The F-150 Centennial Edition has been finely tuned to maintain agility on the streets. The Ridetech Suspension System equips the front with Fox coilover shock absorbers and new upper control arms, while the rear benefits from enhanced sway and track bars along with adjustable Fox shocks.

According to Vince LaViolette, Shelby American Vice President of Operations, they approached this commemorative model with a focus on more power, enhanced stopping ability, and the distinctive Shelby aesthetics. The result is a high-performance street truck, a fitting tribute to Carroll Shelby's expectations.

Visually, the Centennial Edition exudes opulence with racing stripes, larger wheels, and a lowered ride height. Inside, the seats are elegantly upholstered in black leather, featuring Centennial Edition logos on the backrests, special floor mats, tinted windows, and more. However, exclusivity comes at a price. The naturally aspirated model will set customers back $127,995, while the potent supercharged variant commands a price of $136,995.
