Skoda has introduced the Fabia Monte Carlo, a stylish flagship trim of the supermini that comes with a welcoming hatch design and is available with most powertrain combinations. After the Scala and the Kamiq, the Fabia is the third Skoda car to have Monte Carlo styling.

The grille, splitter, side sills, mirror caps, rear spoiler, and rear apron are all finished in black on Fabia's exterior. A Monte Carlo logo on the front fenders, tinted windows, and dark Skoda writing on the tailgate are all available as options, as is a duo-tone design (black roof and pillars).

Standard features include LED headlights (full-LED optional) and fog lights, as well as a set of gloss-black 16-inch Proxima alloy wheels with detachable aerodynamic plastic inserts. The extra 17-inch Procyon wheels on the depicted model, or the even broader 18-inch Libra wheels, are available for those who prefer something edgier.

Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo is recognized for its black interior, which is accented with reddish accents throughout the cabin. It has incorporated headrests in the front seats, a flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, a dark-skinned headliner, LED lighting effects, and carbon-look dashboard elements. Optional features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with version-specific visuals, a heated steering wheel, and the top-of-the-line Amundsen infotainment system with a 9.2-inch touchscreen.

The Monte Carlo is available with four Fabia engines: a naturally aspirated three-cylinder 1.0 MPI with 79 hp (59 kW / 80 PS), a turbocharged 1.0 TSI with 94 hp (70 kW / 95 PS) or 109 hp (81 kW / 110 PS), and a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.5 TSI with 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS).

The latter, which is only offered with the seven-speed DSG transmission, is the most appropriate option for the Monte Carlo, enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8 seconds and a max speed of 225 km/h (140 mph). Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, which will be available in Europe in the coming months, has yet to be priced by the carmaker.
