Singapore Is Showing Off With Its Dendrobium Hypercar-Flower Before Geneva Launch
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
Singapore is now known for its own floral name hypercar that doesn't look like a flower at all. It's dubbed Dendrobium, which represents a type of orchids. This vehicle is one of the electric coupes capable of high speed.
These two images released show us the low-slung and lined body. The roof and doors are opened in a synchronized way and look like a bloomed dendrobium. The spokesman of the project, Sam Hardy, mentioned in a report that this model is going to have something similar to the gullwing doors on a 300SL Mercedes, but in a more complex manner.

The interior of the model has a two-seat cabin, made of the lowest carbon leather by Scottish maker Bridge of Weir. It's considered one of the best in the automotive industry.
Keep in mind that the Dendrobium flower will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show by Vanda Electrics, but just as a concept. Williams Advanced Engineering has worked closely as a technical partner in order to create the initial model. There aren't any details regarding the powertrain, but the only thing that was mentioned is that the model will be a hypercar with great e-powertrain development.
Except for the unique vehicles, Vanda Electrics is up to creating an unusual Motochimp electric scooter, too. Its design resembles a modern version of a classic Honda Z-series of minibikes. Let's wait and see what we are going to get.
