Shelby American Unleashes 900 HP With The F-150 Baja Raptor

Shelby American's F-150 Baja Raptor is an absolute beast, taking the already capable Ford F-150 Raptor and pushing it to new heights, both literally and figuratively. With the option of either a V6 or a monstrous V8, Shelby has transformed the Raptor into something even more formidable.

The Baja package, while not cheap, enhances the performance and design of the truck in significant ways. For the standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 Raptor, you're looking at 550 horsepower, thanks to upgrades like a high-performance intake and aluminum intercooler.

And if you go for the Raptor R, Shelby equips it with a 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, cranking the power to a jaw-dropping 900 horsepower. Beyond powertrain upgrades, Shelby gives the Baja Raptor a suspension lift kit, 18-inch flow-forged wheels, 37-inch mud-terrain tires, and a custom hood with functional intakes and vents.

There’s also a steel chase rack in the bed with a power-actuated 50-inch LED light bar and full-size spare wheel mounts for that rugged off-road look. The interior gets a touch of luxury with black and red leather-trimmed seats and billet racing pedals, adding an extra layer of customization.

Prices start at $61,995 for the Baja package on the standard Raptor and $64,995 for the Raptor R package. It’s not cheap, but with 900 hp and custom upgrades, it’s a statement truck with performance to match.
