The Rolls Royce Tempus Collection limited edition is limited to only 20 examples and they’ve already been spoken for. Imagine the unique possibility of driving a car through the galaxy and experience the “Star Track" journey. Inspired by the universe and the pulsar astronomical phenomenon, the interior has the themes up the deepest reaches of space.

The first feature is the nocturn driving reveals dense, white-hot dots from the pulsar, which many stars emit electromagnetic radiation in regular pulses, making them, the most accurate clocks in the universe. The Starlight headliner meticulously portrays the Pulsar phenomenon, with fiber-optic lighting and intricate bespoke embroidery.

The second feature is the ‘Frozen flow of Time’ artwork. This one is housing the fascia of the dashboard milled out of a single billet of aluminum forming 100 individual contoured columns. This isn’t just a random number, but a symbol for the 100-million-year period for the pulsar star rotation. Also, the dashboard has  a great quote by Albert Einstein, engraved on a plaque in the glove compartment, saying “The distinction between past, present, and future is only as a stubbornly persistent illusion.”

Inside the Phantom Tempus Collection car, you won’t find a clock. This was done to create the illusion of “freedom from time and its limitations.” Special attention is drawn to the door cards where are placed hundreds of illuminated perforations, aimed to contrast with leather for a greater depth and detail effect. The Tempus Champagne Test is the ultimate luxury detail which also has pulsar artwork hand-painted onto the table and chest housing thermal flasks for champaign and caviar.

The exterior is painted in a bespoke Kairos Blue finish combined with black exterior detailing. And the limited number of examples allows the manufacturer to create a personalized Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet with a unique date and location of particular significance to the client.
