Roborace Autonomous Racer Gets Launched

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain has hosted the debut of Roborace Autonomous Racer. Its weight is of 975 kg (2,149 lbs) and it is equipped with four 300 kW electric motors, enabling it to touch a top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph).
The autonomous driving Robocar is based on a hardware powered by Nvidia Drive PX2. It has got 2 radars, 2 optical speed sensors, 5 LIDAR sensors, 18 ultrasonic sensors and around 6 cameras or even more.
The event from Buenos Aires that took place last month hosted two prototypes from Roborace, as they initially thought of unveiling the autonomous racing series during 2017 Formula E season.
