If you ever thought that Rimac Concept_One is not powerful enough with its 1,088 hp (800 kW), then be happy to find out that there is an upgrade for it, too. The car came to the 2017 Geneva Motor Show with even more power - 1,224 hp (900 kW).
The upgraded Concept_One reaches 62 mph (100 kph) in only 2.5 seconds. Its top speed is about 221 mph (355 kph).

The extra power is not the only thing Concept_One can show off with. It is also equipped with a torque vectoring system. This system is responsible for the optimal delivery of the extra power. Each motor controls the power according to the road conditions.

Rimac Concept_One also features a larger battery pack - 90-kWh. It is known that the range has also been increased to 350 km (217 miles). With all these changes, the carâs weight has become bigger - 1,900 kg (4,189 lbs).

The Croatian company has stated that Concept_One's successor will feature more power. Called Concept_S, it is supposed to come up only in two units at a price of $1.6 million each in 2018.

Rimac Automobili is also developing a lightweight hybrid battery system for Aston Martin Valkyrie these days.
