Rhino Racing Unveils RR01 Kit Car Inspired By Porsche Carrera GT

Introducing the Rhino Racing RR01, a thrilling kit car emerging from Lithuania, poised as a street-legal kit car engineered to be raced. Drawing inspiration from the Porsche Carrera GT and 918 Spyder, this model distinguishes itself with a fixed-roof coupe configuration adorned with eye-catching gullwing doors.

For starters, the entry-level RR01 has a sturdy roll cage and an aluminum monocoque chassis for just €25,000 ($26,906).

A fiberglass body further enhances its appeal as being lightweight. Delving into performance, the car features a fully adjustable double wishbone suspension, three-way adjustable dampers, and a sport steering wheel hosting a convenient 4.3-inch display. For those seeking a more track-focused variant, the "Option 2" model, priced at €27,500 ($29,595), takes the stage.

With polycarbonate windows and 19-inch wheels wrapped in Toyo tires, it promises an even more exhilarating ride. An AP Racing brake system, adorned with six-piston calipers at the front and rear, ensures responsive stopping power. Inside, the Option 2 welcomes drivers with six-point harnesses and a 7-inch infotainment system.

Moreover, buyers can opt for a separate €37,500 ($40,365) package. This package includes a potent 5.2-liter V10 sourced from an Audi R8. Rhino promises a fully rebuilt engine with all-new internals, coupled with a custom race-tested straight-cut sequential gearbox, a motorsport ECU, and a limited slip differential.

Though details are few, the RR01 is anticipated to be rear-wheel-drive, delivering an impressive 480 hp. Designed for assembly by buyers without extensive technical knowledge, the Rhino Racing RR01 kit car offers an exhilarating DIY experience. It is anticipated for delivery in August or September.
