Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept - Homage To The Great Architect

There are cars out there that are created in order to pay homage or to represent a certain cultural movement or art direction.

For example, the Art Deco interwar style was all about luxury and glamour, along with faith in the technological progress and bold geometric shapes.

Renault decided to pay a tribute to the modern designer and painter, Le Corbusier and has created Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept. This is a design study that tried to research the French culture, especially the golden era of the automobiles, the '30s.

Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept represents an elegant structure, with a geometric design, with inspirations from the interwar period, combined with modern architecture.

Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept will probably never reach production, nor will it serve as a basis for the future Renault cars, but we definitely should give the concept the credit it deserves for being so original and special.
