Range Rover Evoque L Discreetly Launched in China

Range Rover Evoque L is supposedly 178.4 in (4,531 mm) long, which is 6.3 in (160 mm) longer than the standard version. It is designed to satisfy the country's overwhelming desire for long-wheelbase cars.

Despite its length, the car is easily recognizable as an Evoque, with the longest rear doors and “L” badging on the C-pillar being the most visible modifications. Land Rover, on the other hand, is introducing three two-tone launch specials to celebrate the model's debut.

Customers will find a more comfortable second-row with an extra 4.9 inches (125 mm) of legroom once inside the cab. A large panoramic moonroof and adjustable rear seats that recline up to 7 degrees and have wing headrests for enhanced comfort are further noteworthy.

A 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch infotainment system are standard on the Evoque. A third display for temperature control and car controls, as well as a second-generation activity key with an OLED touchscreen display that functions similarly to a smartwatch, are also included.

The Evoque L Launch Edition has a starting price of ¥430,000 ($66,366 / £48,180 / €56,210), and the lengthy vehicle is expected to replace the shorter version in China. It's unknown whether the model will be available in other markets, although it seems doubtful.
