Ram Unveils Lunar Edition 2500 Models Inspired By Blood Moon
by AutoExpert | 3 March, 2026
Total lunar eclipses are rare, and when they happen, the moon takes on that deep copper shade people often call a blood moon. Ram decided to have a little fun with the moment by launching something themed around it.
The brand has introduced Lunar Editions of the 2500 Rebel and Power Wagon. Both trucks come with a two-tone exterior, pairing Ceramic Grey on the upper body with Diamond Black along the lower half. The combination gives them a darker, slightly dramatic look without going overboard. Black wheels, body-color grilles, and a few subtle graphics finish the design.

Inside, the dark vibe continues. Black Natura Plus leather seats feature embossed Rebel or Power Wagon logos, while Copperhead Orange stitching adds a quiet nod to the eclipse inspiration. There is also a Mopar console safe and a special badge on the center console to mark the edition.
Both trucks are based on the Level 2 Equipment Group, so they come loaded. You get a large 14.5 inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 10.25 inch passenger display, and a 17 speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Practical touches like a spray in bedliner, rain sensing wipers, passive entry, and a deployable bed step are included too.

Under the skin, they stay true to their personalities. The Power Wagon runs a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 405 horsepower and adds serious off-road hardware like rock rails and a 12,000-pound Warn winch. The Rebel can be equipped with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel, delivering 430 horsepower and a massive 1,075 lb-ft of torque, making it a towing machine.
The Lunar Edition package costs 1,995 dollars. With that added, the Power Wagon starts at $86,385 and the Rebel at $93,885, including destination. It may be inspired by a rare moment in the sky, but underneath the special paint and stitching, these are still hard-working, heavy-duty trucks built to do real jobs.
