Production Kia EV4 Breaks Cover Ahead Of Full Reveal On February 24

Kia has officially pulled the wraps off the production-ready EV4, and it stays remarkably true to the concept’s bold design. Available in both sedan and hatchback form, the EV4 retains the futuristic styling cues of the show car while gaining practical touches like conventional side mirrors and flush door handles.
While Kia is keeping the interior under wraps for now, the full reveal is set for February 24 at the brand’s EV Day event in Tarragona, Spain, with full technical details coming on February 27.

Both versions are shown in the sporty GT-Line trim, featuring unique 19-inch wheel designs. The sedan’s sloping roofline might suggest a liftback design like the old Stinger, but a closer look confirms a traditional trunk lid. The hatchback, meanwhile, offers a more classic yet still modern profile.

Kia even designed distinct front bumpers for each body style, while both versions embrace the current trend of vertical front and rear lighting. One of the more unexpected design choices is the sedan’s long rear overhang—which makes the hatchback the more balanced-looking of the two.

Details on performance and range are still under wraps, but the Kia EV4 is expected to sit above the EV3 crossover in Kia’s electric lineup. It’s also rumored to be coming to the U.S., potentially as a competitor to models like the Tesla Model 3.
