Porsche Panamera To Get A Second-Gen Mercedes-AMG GT Rival
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
We've been waiting for a long time for a first-class sedan from Mercedes-AMG as there were countless rumors regarding that. According to a recent report, boss Tobias Moers mentioned a Porsche Panamera contender, which is likely to be launched in 2019.
There was stated in different sources that the second-gen AMG GT is actually based on an updated version of the MRA platform and it reinforces the C-, E- and S-Class. The car has lost some weight thanks to its aluminum material and high-strength steel. The only thing that is going to give that model a one-off name is its suspension layout.

It was officially announced that Mercedes-Benz has already started working on the next generation of GT, but let's keep in mind that a week ago they exposed the GT C model at the 2017 NAIAS in Detroit. This might end up calling off the GT Black Series project.
According to Moers, they already have a full plate. A Black Series model needs lots of dedication as GT R had it. The one thing we're really worried about and concentrated on is the next-gen GT.
Before they get entirely caught up in work, we'll meet their most effective and wildest model - Project One. It will be launched at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. It has a Formula 1-based hybrid system and it is likely to deliver 1,000 hp (735 kW). It's an absolutely gorgeous car!
