Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Comes With 671 HP

Porsche Panamera and its counterpart, Cayenne share the same engines. These are some of the most successful models coming from Porsche. Now, after Panamera has introduced the new Turbo S E-Hybrid setup, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid is the second to come with the setup onboard.
Porsche intends to use this high-powered hybrid setup for Cayenne, too. This will actually take some time until we have the next-generation model, which is scheduled for the next year.

The top-of-the-line engine option will be a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from Turbo S that delivers 550 hp paired with an electric motor that delivers 136 hp. In combination, it will produce 671 hp and 627 lb-ft torque.

This means that Panamera will reach 60 mph in 3.2 seconds; Cayenne will hit the same figures in 5.4 seconds, while the 416-hp Cayenne S E-Hybrid takes 3.8 seconds.

These numbers will perfectly allow Cayenne to compete with models such as Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, and Audi Q8.

If Panamera and Cayenne get this hybrid setup, it is really interesting if Macan and next 911 will do the same.
