With the addition of a tarmac-focused wagon to the Taycan model portfolio, the "Cross" in the Taycan Cross Turismo is being replaced with "Sport." Taycan GTS is designed to fit between the premium Taycan Turbo, which produces 670 hp (679 PS/500 kW), and the 4S, which produces 462 hp (468 PS/355 kW).

Porsche considers the GTS variation the perfect blend of performance and luxury.

With launch control, the GTS produces 590 hp (598 PS/440 kW), and both variants accelerate to 60 mph (96.5 km/h) in 3.5 secs. A conventional 93.4 kWh Performance Battery Plus with an 800-volt structure provides the extra power, allowing the car to withstand growing demands while reducing heat build-up.

Both GTS variants can recharge from 5% to 80% in just 22.5 minutes, thanks to charging speeds of up to 270 kW.
Taycan Turbo's suspension and performance equipment are used in GTS, but calibration and tuning are unique. Adaptive air suspension with clever lift and active suspension control is included as standard in the new model. Torque vectoring technology, as well as the Sport Chrono Package and the GT Multifunction steering wheel, are all standard.

However, the Taycan 4S's red six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers were adopted. The new model does, nevertheless, include 390 mm front rotors, which are bigger than the 360 mm discs seen on the 4S. For greater performance, they have a tungsten carbide coating, and Porsche's Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are an alternative.

The GTS vehicles have a special Race-Tex inside the package that matches the rest of the Porsche GTS family. The front and rear headrests are embroidered with a “GTS” emblem. The GTS Interior Package adds varied stitching on the dash, doors, armrests, steering wheel, and seats, as well as complementing seat belts, in either Carmine red or Chalk.

Outside, the new GTS versions have a unique SportDesign front fascia as well as SportDesign side skirts with a GTS badge. The side window trim, as well as a particular inlay in the rear diffuser, are done in high-gloss black, whereas the rear badging is matte black.

The 20-inch Taycan Turbo S Aero Design wheels come standard with a special satin black finish, while the 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels are optional. Furthermore, to match the dark base, the Matrix PDLS Plus headlights are shaded black, and the outside mirror cap bottoms are coated body color.

Taycan

Taycan GTS Sport Turismo employs the Cross Turismo wagon body form but concentrates it on the road. Moreover, the ride height is identical to the Taycan sedans, which helps to decrease the center of gravity. Its internal proportions, however, are identical to those of the Cross Turismo.

With the back seats folded down, the load volume expands to 15.7 cubic feet (445 liters) and 42.8 cubic feet (1,212 liters). Both GTS variants, on the other hand, feature a 2.9 cubic foot (82-liter) trunk in the front.

Taycan

In the second quarter of 2022, both Taycan GTS versions will be available in the United States, with EPA consumption estimates available nearer to deliveries. The Taycan GTS will cost $131,400 ($132,750 plus $1,350 for delivery), whereas the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo will cost $133,300 ($134,650 plus delivery). Likewise, the sedan is priced at £104,190 RRP and the wagon is priced at £104,990 RRP in the United Kingdom.
