Porsche 964 Mega Special From The 1990s Gets 21st-Century Remake

Strosek Auto Design has a long and illustrious history of customizing Porsche 911 cars, and it recently debuted its latest effort to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their iconic 'Mega' from the 1990s. The new Mega will be a coupe this time, rather than a speedster.

The German business started with a standard Porsche 964 and constructed a beautiful widebody modification as well as a series of performance enhancements for the water-cooled 911 to develop the new 'Mega 30.' Only 30 cars will be made.

The widened front and rear wheel arches included in this package substantially change the car's posture on the road. Strosek was also able to place a unique set of 19-inch wheels to the car, covered in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 245/30 in the front and 295/25 in the back. H&R stabilizer bars and KW's popular V3 coilovers have also been installed.

The appearance of Strosek's latest Porsche has also been updated, with new wing mirrors, custom front and rear bumpers, distinctive side skirts, and the option of a huge rear wing. New camshafts, a unique air intake, a tuned ECU, a 100-cell catalytic converter, and a sports exhaust system are all included in the car's performance enhancements.

The base Porsche Mega 30 model has a 300-horsepower engine, but it can be upgraded to 450-horsepower for individuals who want more power. A six-speed manual transmission has also been altered. Strosek has upgraded the interior of the car with new Recaro seating, carbon fiber panels, and a variety of Alcantara and leather materials. There's also a roll cage and a charming Momo steering wheel. Each Porsche Mega 30 is expected to cost roughly €300,000 ($346,000).
