Peugeot 3008 DKR Marks Amazing Victory With 1–2–3 At The 2017 Dakar Rally

Peugeot 3008 DKR became the winner of Dakar Rally ending up with a 1-2-3 finish. This was quite an astonishing victory.
It was a hard game and the victory was taken by Stephane Mr. Dakar Peter Hansel. He managed to do that for the second year in a row, which is quite impressive.

Peterhansel succeeded in winning thirteen Dakar prices, including seven of them in the cars' category and six on bikes. These figures make him one of the most successful drivers of all the times of the landmark rally.

Nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb came to the end the second in the cars' category in 5 minutes and 13 seconds and Cyril Despres was the third.

All three of them were in charge of a new Peugeot 3008 DKR that was specifically made for the 2017 Rally.

Nani Roma and Giniel de Villiers with their Toyota model have come fourth and fifth. They were both ahead of Orlando Terranova. The latter had previously ended up winning the Dakar Rally four times during 2012-2015. Besides that, there is also Volkswagen Company with its Touareg winning three years in a row (2009-2011) and seven consecutive victories for Mitsubishi Pajero before that.

2017 also witnessed Sam Sunderland winning the motorcycles category in the KTM 450 Rally. Russian racing drivers such as Eduard Nikolaev, Evgeny Yakovlev, and Vladimir Rybakov achieved the victory in the trucks class with their Kamaz 4326 and another Russian driver, Sergy Karyakin, gained victory in the quads category in his Yamaha Raptor 700. The Brazilian drivers Leandro Torres and Lourival Roldan had the new UTV class in the Polaris RZR 1000 XP.
