The CEO Opel Group, Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann officially announced the new generation of the Opel Astra.
It will be presented in autumn 2015 at the Motor Show in Frankfurt and promises to impress with an absolutely special design, high efficiency, and latest technical innovations!
The 11th generation of Opel compact models was born somewhere in the specialized workshops in Russelsheim, and in a short time journeyed the way from a sketch on a white sheet on the first prototype ready for mass production. It has been tested in many conditions and the results are promising. Compact dimensions, more interior space, attractive design, and greater efficiency, all these Dr. Neumann even promises us that also the engine range will include exclusive new-generation powertrains.
Since the launch of the first model Opel Kadett and the exit of the assembly line of the last Astra model, were produced in total 24 million units, which tell that the compact Opel models have always been the mainstay of the company. With each new generation launched, the Opel managed to set new standards of safety, comfort, and efficiency, and the new model will not be an exception.
