by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
The new Opel Crossland X model has been finally revealed, representing a compact crossover that will come as a successor of Meriva.
According to Opel, Crossland's dimensions are similar to Mokka X and the model is set to rival with Renault Captur and Peugeot 2008. Mokka X, on the other hand, being an all-wheel-drive vehicle, competes with Skoda Yeti and Nissan Juke.

Crossland will be available in the front-wheel-drive version only, being 70 mm smaller than Mokka X. The underpinnings of the new crossover are shared with Picasso C3 and Peugeot 2008 and the propulsion system may probably also be shared with the latter.

The interior of the car hosts infotainment systems that are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They also feature a wireless charging point and OnStar service.

The driver of the new Crossland X will be assisted by several systems, including parking assist, pedestrian detects, panoramic rear-view camera, autonomous emergency braking, and others.

The new model will become available in the marketplace this summer.
