Opel Astra K presents itself in a station wagon called Sports Tourer!

Behold a few months away from the launch of the new generation of the Opel Astra (K), the automobile manufacturer based in Resselheim returns in the scene with another new Opel Astra Sports Tourer.

For the most familiar, Opel Astra created the station wagon. It comes with an extra interior space and most importantly, can provide a volume of up to 1630 liters luggage storage, 80 liters more than its predecessor. And to facilitate the access to the trunk, Opel has put on the list of optional the shutter installed in the rear bumper that's acting electric door.

Thanks to the new platform that was built, Opel Astra Sports Tourer managed to save 200 kilograms of the total weight of the car. This allows users without any problem engines offered on the version Astra Hatchback and here we are talking about the engines of 1.0 liters and 105 horsepower, 1.4-liter and 125 (or 150) horsepower, or one of the two versions of the thruster 1.6-liter CDTI that develops 95 and 136 horsepower, depending on the variant chosen.
