Only 3.1 million euros for 11 supercars and limousine!

In the fall of 2011, on the famous Champs Elysee street in central Paris French police descended on the huge house with 101 rooms of the Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue's, the Equatorial Guinea president's son. According to information provided by the authorities then, Teodoro was investigated internationally for fraudulent misuse of funds. President's son was accused of having used about 4 million euros, public funding of African countries, for his own interest, on France territory.

Almost three years after the seizure of 11 supercars, out of a total of 26 held by Teodoro, French police auctioned the models. The list of supercars seized and then sold include two copies of the Bugatti Veyron, a Maserati MC12, a Porsche Carrera GT, a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe, a Ferrari Enzo, a Ferrari 599 GTO, an Aston Martin V8 V600 Le Mans (only 40 produced), two Bentley Azure and a Maybach!, all of these being auctioned and sold for a derisory sum. According to the official press release, the French state earned only 3.1 million euros from models with a value several times higher!
