One of the most coveted and luxurious coupes ever made by BMW is undoubtedly the Series 8 model in the E31 body. I do not think there is even one BMW fan who does not dream of owning this sports car. But there is one model that could be "better" than an ordinary 8 Series and it is Alpina B12 5.7!
Produced in a limited edition of only 57 units, the Alpina E31 coupe is a true masterpiece of the era. The engineers took an 850CSi (produced in only 97 units), equipped with a 5.6-liter V12 engine that develops 375 HP and modified it the volume of 5.7 liters and increased its performance to 410 HP and 570 Nm of torque. The stud can get to 100km/h in only 5.8 seconds and the maximum speed easily reaches the300km/h mark!
The model shown below has only traveled 45,000 kilometers and even if it seems to have been long forgotten in a garage, its sales price is 245,000 euros, the equivalent of two BMWs i8!
