One more plan to recover the Alfa Romeo brand.

Alfa Romeo will get a new recovery plan in 2014, according to Automotive News. This time, Sergio Marchionne wants to bring a revival platforms and new models. Currently, one of the most famous Italian companies experiences loss and lowering sales, below 100,000 units for the first time since 1969.
The new platform of the Alfa Romeo works at Maserati center in Modena, the engineering team is led by Philippe Krieff, former head of development of new models from Ferrari. The first ten months of this year, Alfa Romeo recorded a decline in sales of 30% over the same period last year, ACEA data announcing that 53 604 units were sold on the European market.
The previous Sergio Marchionne's plan for Alfa Romeo, unveiled in April 2010, had the target of raising annual sales to 500,000 units by 2014, but this could not be achieved due to delays in launching new products. The first Alfa Romeo model with the new platform (with rear wheel drive version, will be offered with all-wheel drive) will debut in late 2015.
