No more games! Peugeot introduced the new 308R Hybrid with 500 HP!

Even if almost 2 years have passed since the 308 R Concept presentation, the French did not give up and presented the production version of the hottest hatchback from Peugeot: the 308 R Hybrid.
The new model is equipped with an aerodynamic kit, borrowed from another concept: Quartz, given away by large air prisms, 19-inch wheels, flared fenders and a bi-color paint which only emphasize the bi-polar character of the vehicle.
That's because the new 308 R Hybrid can transform from a compact city car into a true supercar destroyer.
Under the hood,they installed a 1.6-liter turbo engine assisted by two electric motors, which deliver approximately 494 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque! With such power, the sprint from zero to hundred takes only 4.0 seconds!
And because it is ultimately a family car which is supposed to be very useful and convenient, the French give the driver the option to choose from four engine operating modes. The Hot Lap mode packs the full force described above, if you select the Track mode you will "only" get 392 horsepower and 530 Nm, while the domestic regime Roadoffers use only 295 horsepower and 400 Nm
