Art Machines' Ælla-60 Delivers Perfection On A Ferrari Platform

Anthony Jannarelly, the creator of the jaw-dropping Jannarelly Design-1 and the creative lead at Caterham, has returned with an incredible creation. Meet the Ælla-60, a Ferrari 360 Modena that’s been completely reimagined to look like it rolled straight out of the 1960s. Honestly, it’s a total head-turner.

This beauty is the first creation from Jannarelly’s new gig, Art Machines by AJ. Underneath all that retro gorgeousness is the soul of a Ferrari 360—a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V8 paired with a proper six-speed manual sending power to the rear wheels. Weighing just 2,491 pounds, it rips from 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. This is quite impressive for a car that resembles a classic Le Mans grid.

Now, let's talk about looks. Forget the 360’s soft, curvy lines. The Ælla-60 has tight, sculpted fenders, swooping bodywork, and doors that cut into the roof—super cool. It resembles a reimagined version of iconic GT and race cars. Jannarelly nailed that blend of elegance and attitude.

Inside, it's all about old-school driving vibes. Carbon fiber bucket seats, chunky analog gauges, and a slick metal-laden dashboard scream pure driving fun. There’s a bunch of tactile metal switches for stuff like climate control, and thank God—no touchscreen in sight. Just raw, engaging car stuff.

Ælla-60

Art Machines plans to hand-build just 60 Ælla-60s with help from Podium Advanced Technologies—yeah, the same Italian wizards behind the Lancia Delta Futurista and a couple of insane Glickenhaus supercars. The price? The price is an impressive €865,000, which is equivalent to approximately $900,000. At least that includes the donor car, but hey, when you’re driving what’s basically a rolling piece of art, who's counting?
