Nismo is Back: Nissan Unveils Ariya Nismo For European Market

According to Nissan Europe, Nismo is returning. In particular, the company is reintroducing the Ariya Nismo to Europe. The manufacturer provided little details on the Euro-spec crossover but did mention that it would include finely tuned brake pads and a "fine-tuned e-4ORCE system for better power and torque distribution to the wheels."

In addition, Nissan said that the model's interior would be black with fiery red highlights and have Nismo seats that are "reminiscent of Formula E cars."

Japanese officials unveiled two engine options for the Ariya Nismo during the vehicle's introduction earlier this year. Starting at 362 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, the base model is equipped with a 66-kWh battery pack and a two-motor all-wheel drive system.

A 91-kWh battery model is also available to customers, who can enjoy improved power of 429 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. There will probably be more information on the European Ariya Nismo later in the year.
