The next Toyota GR Super Sport Hypercar has a tight competition for its 20 units. Toyota is expected to compete for this year in the Le Mans Hypercars and will build 20 street-legal versions. The most anticipated is the 986hp Super Sport which and the ownership of such an exquisite hypercar is coming with some conditions.

The privilege of owning a Super Sport is up to a carefully selected questionnaire. The inquire is about knowing some elemental and the same time odd about the future driver. For starters, the automaker would like to know your car ownership history, and here comes the odd thing. It's not about the cars you owned in your high school. The thoroughness is about if you've owned  Toyota 2000GT or a Lexus LFA.

Other questions are about your knowledge about your racing licenses, how often do you race, and what is your level of involvement in motorsports. they need to be sure that the owner would use it according to its sport spirit.

The thing about the 1967-70 Toyota 2000GT was the first Japan sports car, but unfortunately, they could export outside the interior market. Despite the fact that there weren't many sold, because they were more expensive than the Porsche 911. Only 337 units were sold at an exorbitant price back then - $900,000 -$1.2 million.

So far, we know that the Toyota Super Sport concept was inspired by the TS050. Looking like a prototype endurance car, this a twin-turbocharged hybrid V6 delivering a  maxim of 986 horsepower. There are tall, wide fenders over the wheels, a large rear wing, a narrow cabin, and copious vents.
