New Engines For The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace, XF, And XE

The British carmaker is refreshing its lineup and the first to get new Ingenium engines are the 2018 Jaguar F-Pace, XF, and XE.

The range of engines includes two petrol-fueled and one diesel unit, the latter bringing power of 240 hp out of a 2.0-liter twin-turbo engine. The petrol-fueled ones have a capacity of 2.0 liters and deliver 200 hp and 250 hp, respectively. The 200 hp petrol-unit will be available exclusively on the XE and XF models. As for the diesel unit, this will be teamed up with two turbochargers and upgraded pistons, which is a novelty for Jaguar Land Rover.

XF and XE will come with Configurable Dynamics in 2018, which will allow the owners to configure the cars according to their own preferences. They will get to choose between normal and dynamic setting for the engine, steering, and gearbox. The Adaptive Dynamics system will allow the configuration of the suspension.

Jaguar Land Rover is also preparing to bring new dual technology on the 2018 F-Pace and XF models. This technology will allow the driver and front passenger to view various information on the brand new 10-inch display. Driving will become safer and easier, thanks to the improved Forward Traffic Detection and Forward Vehicle Assistance systems. Jaguar will also improve the color palette.
