New Chevrolet Niva quickly approaching mass production

The first images of second-generation SUV from Chevrolet Niva appeared on the internet. The car was noticed on Russian roads which seem to be the best test place.
Chevrolet Niva is a product that resulted from cooperation between GM and AvtoVaz. Initially, Chevy Niva was designed as a predecessor of the famous Niva but the high price and inferior off-road qualities ranked it as a completely different model. However, in Russia, Chevrolet Niva was successful and after several years on the market, GM decided it was time for a new model.
Chevrolet Niva was seen in the Khanty-Mansiysk region, where temperatures reach -35 C, a sign that the car is taking the last tests before being launched into mass production.
The new generation is built on a new platform, specifically designed and adapted to the climacteric conditions of Russia. The engine comes from Peugeot and is adapted to operate in Russia.
