New 2025 Nissan Qashqai Brings Modern Styling And Smart Tech

Recent updates to the third-generation Nissan Qashqai have focused on both the exterior and inside. For starters, the front end no longer features the fork-shaped headlamp and DRL combo, nor does the v-shaped chrome grille.

A larger and more aesthetically pleasing mesh grille, modeled after the chainmail armor of ancient Japanese warriors, concealed headlights, and thin DRLs have taken their place.

An updated bumper and a new pair of LED taillights are among the changes made to the back. Also, the new N-Design trim level swaps out the standard 18s and 19s for 20s and has color-coded body trim. Despite this disappointment, the selection of fully electric engines remains unchanged. Potential customers may choose between an 187-horsepower engine, one of two 1.3-liter mild-hybrids producing 138 horsepower, or both options together.

In this 1.5-liter E-Power complete hybrid, the internal combustion engine never really drives the wheels; rather, it charges the battery. However, electrified or plug-in hybrid powertrains are still not available on the Qashqai from Nissan. A new Android-based entertainment system with integrated Google Maps and Assistant is one thing the redesigned SUV offers.

Along with these new technological capabilities, the Around-See Monitor camera system now has a 3D capability that allows drivers to see their Qashqai from any outside angle, including above. On top of that, AVW has features like an invisible hood view and a Parking Spot Location Memory that remembers where you usually park and automatically slots itself into certain locations.

Similar technology may be used to record the precise positions of junctions with limited visibility, allowing for the automated projection of an ultra-wide-angle feed of the road onto the media screen—all without the driver having to lift a finger. The revised Nissan Qashqai is already rolling off the assembly line at Nissan's UK Sunderland facility and will soon be available at dealerships throughout Europe. However, Nissan has no intention of importing it to the US.
