Naran Automotive made a strong debut in 2020 but quickly lost momentum. Now, there's new excitement as they plan to showcase a prototype hypercar at Salon Privé later this month! In June, the firm revealed details on the "hyper coupe," but they have remained mostly unseen.

The company claimed at the time that the car's design was a collaboration between creator Ameerh Naran and Jowyn Wong of WYN Design. In case you didn't know, Wong has contributed to the Apollo Intensa Emozione and the De Tomaso P72.

The coupe features a vented hood, a prominent front splitter, and distinctive lighting units, giving it an aggressive and edgy appearance. The coupe also includes a carbon ceramic braking system, hybrid carbon wheels, dynamic side skirts, and a prominent rear wing. The manufacturer also said that the model had composite body panels and "hinged clamshells at each end."

Even though Naran hasn't revealed any inside photos just yet, word on the street is that high-quality leather and CNC-milled billet aluminum details will be available to buyers. Nevertheless, the cabin will provide a fantastic deal of personalization options; the business has said that initial requests have covered a wide range of materials, from marble and granite to gold leaf. There is a 5.0-liter V8 with twin turbos that is supposed to generate 1,048 horsepower and 764 pound-feet of torque.

It seems to be deactivatable, and it's linked to a bespoke transmission and all-wheel drive system that can switch back to rear-wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, this configuration will allow the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and from 0 to 200 mph in 16.5 seconds. It will be "the fastest non-electrified four-seater in the world," they said.

The manufacturer has mentioned features such as hydraulic steering, four-way adjustable dampers, and a double-wishbone suspension, but they have not provided any further details. A race track-inspired aero pack, which Naran also noted, will supposedly produce 3,036 lbs (1,377 kg) of downforce. The firm caps production at 39 units, with a starting price of €2 million (roughly $2.2 million).
