Muscovites have witnessed a new premiere: LADA VESTA Cross Concept!

The Russians from AutoVAZ have unveiled the prototype of a new crossover LADA named Lada Vesta Cross Concept. The premiere was held, August 26, in the exhibition of the Moscow Off-Road Show.
The manufacturer claims that the creation of this model has been used at least 320 unique details and to start the mass production the specialists need a maximum of one year. The Company President of AutoVAZ, Bu Andersson, quoted by Russian media said that it is possible to start a production version in the series of the SUV Vesta Cross, but it is not appropriate to talk about the technical characteristics of the car or terms of construction thereof.
The presentation of the Cross Western concept mainly aims to test the reaction of those who want such a crossover in order to develop the project further. It is said that the first commercial version of the Lada family Vesta will be a sedan, the mass production of which will start in September this year.
The car will be built on its own platform LADA using details from several auto companies Renault and Nissan. The Vesta range models will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine, which develops an output of 87, 106 and 144 horsepower, coupled to the manual and automatic gear-box.
