Morgan Plus Four Heads To The U.S. In 2025 Under Replica Car Law

The Morgan Plus Four is finally on its way to the United States, with an expected arrival date of early 2025. However, it won't be a mass-market car, and it certainly won't come cheap. Morgan first hinted at bringing the Plus Four to American shores back in April, when it unveiled the latest generation of the car.

The U.S. replica car law, which permits the company to sell up to 325 units annually in the States, has now confirmed that Morgan will sell the vehicle. Although the company has not yet released the final pricing, estimates indicate a starting price of approximately $74,500.

Eager buyers have already claimed the first few hundred cars. For roughly the same price as a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, customers will get a BMW-sourced 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 255 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque with the six-speed manual transmission.

That’s enough to send the Plus Four from 0 to 62 mph in 5.2 seconds, with a top speed of 149 mph.

Opting for the eight-speed automatic boosts torque to 295 lb-ft, shaving the 0-62 mph time down to 4.8 seconds. In addition to the powertrain, Morgan has introduced several updates to enhance the driving experience.

These include new springs and dampers, plus an optional Dynamic Handling Pack that adds a rear anti-roll bar and a custom suspension setup from Nitron. The 2025 Plus Four marks the first four-wheeled Morgan model to meet U.S. homologation standards since 2006.
