Dodge Challenger Drag racing Pak: Not incidentally, the tuner's name is Mopar, and the machine displayed is just the victim of such treatment.

The American specialists came up with a solution ready calculated for drag racing buffs. Dodge Challenger Drag Pak can be equipped with one of two gasoline engines, both V8 426 cubic inch (7.0-liter volume) naturally aspirated or a supercharged version of it, but with a somewhat lower volume of 354 cubic inches.

Regardless of engine, Mopar will use the same transmission specially prepared for racing.

At the aesthetic level, the muscle car Challenger differs from a usual due ventilated hood and with 15-inch wheels shod in Hoosier drag tires. However, the performance enhancements betray this Drag Pak. Absolutely mandatory is a roll cage made under NHRA standards and a five-point safety belt. Other key changes were aimed at the suspension.

Specialists from Mopar hesitated to give too many details about the car's performance but they have confessed that the distance of 402 meters is within the first eight seconds!

New Dodge Challenger Drag Pak can be yours for a sum of 99,426 dollars for the version equipped with a naturally aspirated V8, or 109,354 dollars for version equipped with a turbocharged engine.
