Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe have been improved for 2023. The design team at Mercedes-AMG used the GT 63 S E Performance's front fascia to refine the external appearance of the GT 63 and GT 63 S. The exterior air intakes are broader and include three vertical fins instead of the pre-facelift versions' horizontal fins.

Mercedes has also increased the level of personalization available on the redesigned GT 63 and GT 63 S 4-Door versions. Manufaktur's color palette has expanded, with new additions such as Arabian Grey, Cashmere White Magno, and China Blue. There are 4 matte paints, 5 metallic colors, and 2 solid colors to select from, including two new tones of Starling Blue Metallic and Starling Blue Magno.

Both the Night Package II and a mix of the Night Package and AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Pack are also available.
Diamond patterning and beautiful Nappa leather have also been included in the Manufaktur array of interior choices. In the future, Mercedes plans to provide more customization possibilities.

The basic AMG Ride Control+ suspension system has also been improved. The suspension system is based on Mercedes-Benz's Air Body Control suspension system and includes electronically controlled adaptive and changeable dampers. Two pressure limiting valves are included in this new system, allowing the damping force to be regulated even more accurately based on the drive mode and driving circumstances.

A suspension control unit is also included in the system, which captures info from acceleration and wheel path detectors to instantly regulate the damping force for each wheel in milliseconds. The suspension's different settings may be changed either through the driving modes or separately through a special damping button.

Mercedes-AMG GT's engines have not been altered in any way. Both have a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 575 horsepower between 5,500 and 6,500 rpm and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) between 2,350 and 5,000 rpm in the GT 63. The GT 63 S offers a bit more oomph, with 630 horsepower between 5,500 and 6,500 rpm and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm.
