Mitsubishi to recall 1,497 Lancer Evolution!

The Japanese carmaker is recalling 1,497 Lancer Evolutions and Ralliart built-in 2014. Apparently the parking brake cable makes contact with the fuel tank which damages the coating and can cause the tank to rust or leak.
The leak is especially dangerous around the ignition source and the issue must be addressed ASAP.
Recall that Evolution was one of the few good cars that Mitsubishi made for Americans. So far there were no incidents reported and car owners should feel safe. There is a very small chance that your 2014 Lancer EVO could catch on fire.
