Mini One and One D - the most affordable versions of the new Mini!

Launched with three power trains in November last year, the new Mini generation will benefit from the rise in sale of two engine versions: it is the Mini One and Mini derivatives One D, entry-level versions of the British model.

The brand fans from the kingdom, familiar with the range established indicatives, know that the Mini One version is driven by a gasoline engine. Only that, there is no more the outdated aspirated 1.6-liter engine, but a new generation one provided by owner BMW.

It is a three-cylinder unit of 1.2-liter, Twin Power Turbo, which guarantees 102 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque. The turbocharged engine promises acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in just 9.9 seconds, when speaking about manual transmission. If we consider an automatic gearbox, acceleration time can increases to 10.2 seconds.

For diesel engines lovers, Mini comes with the version One D, the most affordable diesel range. Like its big brother Cooper D, the version makes use of the same three-cylinder unit, 1.5-liter, but modified in order to provide more modest resources.

The engine delivers 95 hp and 220 Nm, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 11 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 kmph. Consumption, also, varies between 3.4 and 3.5 liters per 100 km in mixed regime. The new Mini will reach its first customers this spring.
