If you're eyeing the new Mini Cooper SE but want a bit more visual flair without going full-throttle on performance, Mini has the answer: the special John Cooper Works Trim. Just be prepared; it's more about the looks than the speed.

The Cooper SE with the John Cooper Works trim kicks off its style transformation with a sleek, high-gloss black front grille surround and logo. The LED headlights add a touch of individuality with distinct light signatures, featuring two horizontal stripes as daytime running lights.

Rolling on a set of exclusive 18-inch, 10-spoke wheels with a striking two-tone design, the Mini Cooper SE JCW Trim stands out with bold red brake calipers. The visual feast continues with a Chilli Red contrasting roof, wing mirror caps, and dynamic red graphics over the hood.

But it's not all exterior glitz. The JCW trim also jazzes up the interior. Picture sportier seats clad in synthetic leather and adorned with red stitching. The dashboard and door panels follow a unique black and red theme, while the central infotainment screen introduces a Go-Kart mode. This mode transforms the interior lighting to red and tweaks the throttle response of the Cooper SE.

Keep in mind, though; there are no mechanical upgrades under the hood. Speaking of under the hood, the Cooper SE John Cooper Works Trim retains its power from a single electric motor, packing 215 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. A 54.2 kWh battery gives it a range of up to 250 miles on the WLTP testing cycle.

The Mini Cooper SE can hit 62 mph in 6.7 seconds and boasts a rapid charging capability, going from 10 to 80% in just 30 minutes. Mini's head, Stefanie Wurst, describes it as a blend of iconic design, legendary performance, and sustainable mobility. While prices are yet to be unveiled, the Cooper SE John Cooper Works Trim promises to be an efficient and joyous driving experience.
