Mercedes Tackles The Hypercar Territory

The first car maker in history, Mercedes, has a huge range of different models starting with luxury vehicles and ending with family vans.

There are rumors that the giant would like to enter the hypercar territory and challenge the well-established players like Porsche 918, LaFerrari and McLaren P1

This all started with the presentation of that Vision GT concept, however, the boss of AMG said that the hypercars are not financially viable. They end up being more a brand-building tool than money makers. He added that Mercedes AMG will focus on developing AMG versions for E-class

The good news is that he said they are working on a car that will beat the Ferrari 488 and McLaren 650S. We'll just have to wait and see how hypercar worthy this vehicle is going to be!
