Mercedes-Benz Urban eTruck Gets Into Production

Mercedes-Benz Urban eTruck has been presented at last year's IAA as a concept. The production version was confirmed recently and approximately 20 clients have already expressed their intention of buying it.
The decision of sending the eTruck into production was motivated by the amazing reaction of the audience at the Commercial Vehicle Show in 2016. Production will begin with small series, following with increasing that number.
The 18-25-ton trucks will be launched according to the requests, with or without refrigerated bodies, platform, or dry box body. The autonomy of the trucks covers a distance of up to 200 km with a total load of up to 25 tons.
Fuso eCanter is Daimler's next project, is set to be produced in a small series as a lightweight taxi, later in 2017.
