Mercedes-Benz rejects any allegations of fraudulent emission tests

After Volkswagen admitted that it cheated on tests of exhaust emissions, the German government has targeted all the manufacturers of automobiles in the country which it and subjected to checks at DUH (Deutsche Umwelthilfe). Among them are and Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or Porsche.

We would like to mention the fact that recently the AutoBild magazine came with similar accusations in the address of the Bavarian BMW company. The colleagues from AB are confessing that the new X3 exceeds the legal limits up to 11 times, accusations that BMW subsequently rejected.

Mercedes-Benz, however, starts to appear, informing the media about the fact that the Stuttgart automobile manufacturer has not used nor will ever use, devices to cheat the technical inspections.

Moreover, the Daimler representatives said they are actively engaged in researching and developing new techniques and methods for measuring harmful emissions produced during the operation on public roads and not in the lab, working in particular not only with the German authorities but with the EU and US too.
